According to Euromonitor International, the retail for joint health dietary supplements in the US was $742.9 million in 2015, up 1.9% from 2014. Globally, products for joint health accounted for about 4% of dietary supplement sales in 2014, said the market researcher.
According to a September 2015 article by Chris Schmidt, Senior Analyst - Consumer Health at Euromonitor, “joint health supplements have struggled to keep up with competitor products that target more critical health concerns, such as heart health, and more acute concerns with more immediately benefits, such as digestive health and immune health.”
