PowerBar dips toes into the beverage category
A bar could mean many things, from a rectangular piece of food to a source of beverages. For PowerBar's product expansion, they're being the latter with their line of beverages aimed at athletes launching this spring, with more to come in the near future. There are the protein shakes, which come with 30 g of protein, just 2 g of sugar, and 160 calories in chocolate and vanilla flavors. Then there is also the Simple Fruit Energy Food, a gel puree that comes in Apple Mixed Berry, Apple Pear Raspberry, and Apple Orange Lemon.
