Food that is out of this world
The buzz had been building for two days, and Michele Perchonok, Acting Space Human Factors and Habitability Element Manager at the NASA Johnson Space Center, certainly did not disappoint.
Dr Perchonok shared the lessons learned from NASA programs to create safe, nutritious and stable foods, and the unique challenges involved in developing food for a Mars mission.
