Asia-Pacific is driving the growth of the global probiotics market, and two of the most in-demand areas are for infant and maternal health.

That is why we are focusing on these two topics for our latest Nutrition Asia video.

In this video, we speak to two companies - Swedish probiotics firm BioGaia and Chinese dairy firm Ausnutria, both of which have conducted extensive clinical studies and manufactured probiotics for maternal and infant health.

To begin, the experts talked about the benefits of probiotics for alleviating infant colic and the level of consumer understanding of their benefits.

In addition, the use of probiotics to cope with hormonal and other changes in breastfeeding mothers are discussed.
