The company, which specializes in vertically integrated sweeteners, flavors, and botanical ingredients, said that the new facility will help the company decrease production costs. The new facility in Guangxi is right in an area where monk fruit and sweet blackberry leaf agriculture is concentrated.
Meanwhile, the new Global Innovation Center was established to bring together “leading industry scientists and experts to support Layn’s ongoing commitment to the discovery of new innovations in sweetener and flavour systems,” according to the company.
